Hello my name is Eleazar Alvarez, I am 24 years old and I reside in Cincinnati Ohio. This is the 5th challenge I've completed. Exactly a year and a half ago I decided to make a change, to live a healthy lifestyle and to be the strongest version of myself. After I completed my second challenge I won 3rd place. Since then I've become more motivated to achieve the body of my dreams, so I joined the 8 week challenge back to back. In the past year I've been having a rough time keeping up with my life goals due to trouble at home. Being the oldest of 3 there is a lot of weight on my shoulders. Taking care of my family has been my main goal since my father got laid off due to a back injury at his job. So my hard work is for them. This challenge has helped keep a healthy mind and positive attitude.

Growing up I was a chubby kid. I didn't notice until I saw pictures of myself. I was involved in many extra curricular activities to loose weight. Without noticing, I was a really active kid. When I was 15 I graduated with a black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do, in high school I ran cross country, track, I even joined a marching band. Even as a young boy I knew the value of being healthy and the hard work it takes to become the best you can be. Growing up I noticed something that impacted my life for years. I found out that I had a liver condition. Knowing that made me feel down and unwanted in life. I would not look people in the eye because of my jaundice. People would ask me if I was smoking or drinking and to be honest I was doing everything possible to be healthy. Of course as a kid how can you explain that to other kids that the only thing they want to do is to laugh at you. So I lived that way until I was grown enough to understand that in order succeed in life I would have to talk to people and have eye contact. Ever since then I have tried to keep my body as healthy as it can be.

The Challenge made me appreciate what I eat on a daily basis. When you try to keep a certain weight or move up to a certain weight you have to carefully watch what you eat. The challenge has made me learn how to exercise and how to improve on my goals as to what I'm trying to accomplish with my body. The challenge has also made me appreciate the time and hard work it takes to achieve your best body. I workout 5 times a week. Even with my tight work schedule I manage to squeeze in my workouts, even after an 11 hour shift the challenege motivates me to go to the gym. I'm in the gym for an hour and forty-five minutes every day. I may sneak in a rest day in between but only if my body desparately needs it. My hard work in the gym isn't anything without the proper nutrition!

I used YOR Muscle Energy, YOR Probiotic Ultra, YOR Repair Ultra, YOR SuperGreens, and my favorite YOR Complete Burn. My days in the gym are usually around 5 am right after work so I took YOR Muscle Energy to give me energy through my workouts. Immediately after my work out I took 2 scoops of YOR Muscle Energy again with 2 scoops of YOR Super Greens to make sure I'm getting the vitamins and nutrients my body needs. On top of the products I had 6 small meals a day. Having a balanced meal plan is imperative to a healthy lifestyle and since i've joined the challenge thats what this has been, a lifestyle. Before going to bed and after waking up I would take 1 YOR Probiotic Ultra capsule and 1 YOR Repair Ultra capsule. The 1 YOR Probiotic Ultra capsule was to insure the foods I ate were all digested properly since I was eating more than before allowing me to introduce new foods into my body. The 1 YOR Repair Ultra capsule helped me with faster muscle and tissue recovery. I noticed my body would recover a day earlier so I wouldn't have to use a day for just recovery.

I am so thankful for the challenge! It has changed the way I look at fitness and where I want to be in the near future. Soon I'll be on stage representing my hard work thanks to YOR Health and the 8 Week Challenge. Hopefully my routine is useful for others to achieve theirs best body.
