Hi my name is Mike and i joined the challenge because i thought this would be a great way to stick to a goal and get results. And 8 weeks was very doable. Not only have i achieved a health goal i thought would be unattainable and would require more dieting and many more hours at the gym....... i've been able to do so in only 8 weeks!!
I'm originally from Hong Kong and came to the United States at 17 yrs old to go to school and was hoping to provide my family with more options. When i first joined 8 weeks ago, i was going through a lot of changes, but positive changes in my life. I used to drive 60+miles/90km to get to work, and sitting in the car driving for an hour, sometimes even 1:30hr and not to mention having a desk job sitting for another 8 hours really got my body in a bad shape. Even though i worked out 4 days a week, my body was never in the best shape. I also developed sciatic nerve pain in my lower back from sitting for prolonged periods. Plus my eating habits weren't the best either.
Not until Yor Health came along, i made some big changes in my life. I quit my job in May and found a new job which was closer. I changed my eating habits. And i supplemented with Yor Health products. And i made sure i slept at least 7-8 hrs each night. And the last 4 weeks, i didn't drink any alcohol at all (i used to drink socially on the weekends)
My daily routine monday - friday is pretty much the same. (i prepare meals on sunday for mon,tue,wed and on wednesday i prepare my meals for thurs and fri)
7:30am When i wake up in the morning, i take 1 repair and 1 probiotic
30 mins (meal 1)later i would eat egg omelette w chicken or turkey sausage wrap
10:30am (meal 2) Yor super greens + fiber plus
12:00pm (meal 3) Chicken breast or turkey meatballs with veggies and brown rice (1 enzyme and 6 multivitamin pills)
3:00pm (meal 4) Greek yogurt with healthy snack (Kind Bar, Crunch Bar, etc)
5:00pm (meal 5) Yor Chocolate/Vanilla shake
6:00pm Berry Blast before i hit the gym and Yor Shake for after the gym
8:00pm (meal 6) Chicken breast with quinoa/farro and veggie (1 enzyme)
11:00pm (meal 7) Yor Chocolate/Vanilla Shake and 1 repair pill before bedtime
For saturday and sunday, i try to eat steak and seafood only to balance out my diet because i only eat chicken breast during the week. I pack my enzymes and multivitamins with me everywhere i go.
I also drink at least a gallon of water per day.
My workouts are as follows:
Mon: Rest day
Tue: Chest day (cardio)
Wed: Leg Day
Thurs: Back day (cardio)
Fri: Arms (bicep,tricep,shoulder)
Sat: High intensity interval training
Sun: High Intensity interval training
I'm very happy with my 8 weeks results, i will definitely do it again and get better results. Aside from my physical transformation, I've gained so much more than just muscle..... I've also experienced improved sleep, better mental clarity and energy throughout the day. But more importantly, i have a vision. I'm excited again to go after my goals. I believe Yor Health is the vehicle that i can finally help my parents, to provide them with more financially. Its definitely challenging in America as it is anywhere nowadays. I thought that my dream of wanting to buy my home was impossible. I started to doubt myself and felt bad that i couldn't live up to it like i wanted to. I now see clearly....... That i'm here with this company for a reason. And that's to change thousands of lives through better health! And my dreams of helping my family will become a reality.
