My journey into YOR Health and the Best Body Challenge started 2 years when I was actually 95KG, very unfit and not very happy. I just had a baby boy who was about 6 months old at the time. I took a long hard look at myself and asked myself "what happened?". I was always very fit. I did athletics, played basketball and rugby all at high levels, as well as other sports on the side. Everyday I was doing something to do with sports. I had a body with almost no fat on it. Then, I let myself go once my father passed away. I slowly stopped playing all my sports. I stopped going to gym. All I did was eat. 20-30KG later I was feeling the worst I ever felt and embarrassed of the way I look. I found myself wanting to go back but with what I have now, a loving wife and a beautiful baby boy.
My before weight was 87KG. I am now down to 76.2KG.
I joined the 8 Week Challenge with the intent of going to the gym but doing no cardio and trying to prove to everyone that you don't have to run everyday to lose weight.
My day started with a glass of cold water with 1x Vitamin tablet and 1x Repair Ultra tablet. I would have good breakfast and 1x Digest Ultra tablet about 30 mins after I wake up. 2-3 hours later I would have a snack (usually fruit or nuts). 2-3 hours later I would have a light meal with 1x Digest Ultra tablet. 1 hour later I would go to the gym and a 1 hour gym session. Go home straight after and have lunch with 1x Digest Ultra. 2-3 hours later I would have another snack and then finally before bed I would have 2 scoops MRP, 1 scoop Super Greens and 1 Scoop Fibre. About 30 mins before bed I have 1x Vitamin tablet & 1x Probiotics tablet.
I tried to exercise Monday to Friday every week, but things would always come up which often didn't allow me to. I had many ups and downs during my 8 weeks with injuries and getting sick, but I kept pushing on. Up to my 6th week in I did not do any cardio or any Abs work. From my 6th week I added a 10 min walk after my work out on a treadmill followed by some Abs work.
YOR Health has changed my life for the best. I started using the products to lose weight and improve my health as I had high cholesterol and not even 30 years old yet. I lost about 12KG during this challenge and about 20KG in total since I started using the products. I am now able to enjoy running around with my son and not run out of energy. I am able to play Basketball again without the insecurity of feeling ugly. In total I am a happier me thanks to these amazing products.
