I have never done a challenge before that involved taking health supplements. I have always trained and coached many people in my life and never bought into how supplementation could help as I was sceptical
Being on the challenge has been motivating and positive not just for me but my young family as well.
I used all the products that I received in my promoter pack, had a nutritionist do a meal plan for me and just added all the YOR Health Prooducts to programme.
Was very hard for myself as I always believed in that if you train hard then you can eat harder. I weighed in at 92kgs when I started. My goal was to get to 80kgs and actually finished on 81kgs. Just short of my goal
I am exercising 5 to 6 times a week. Never done this much training since a sports injury I suffered 3 years ago
I suffered severe peroneal nerve damage which means I have no function in my left leg from the left knee down and. I was very close to losing my leg. I had a full knee reconstruction but cannot have further surgery as i am the only source of income for my family. If I was to do the recovery time would be 9-12 months of no work. I already had that off 3 years ago when I was first injured and was very hard for my pregnant partner at the time with me out of work and baby on the way.
After a year of rehab I went back to playing Rugby League after not getting medical clearance, I was advised by the doctors advised if I continue to play contact sport we will be back here next time removing my left leg. My own father experienced the same thing at my age and I saw him lose his eye sight for good at the age of 3 in a cricket match after being told not to play again by my mother.
It has been a test for me to begin training again and really just had to beat myself and raise my own self belief and confidence again
The products have been great and used all of the products I received in my promoters pack. I get very cranky if I leave my pill box and powders at home or work.
Loved the journey as It was very hard, but it was the best commitment I and most educational for my family and I. The products are awesome, My energy levels were high and recovery was much faster. I will be again jumping on the challenge again with all my team who signs up in the next few weeks
With the support from Family and Friends it has been the motivation and drive for me. I am again coaching sport and running free bootcamps. Not a qualified PT but enjoy helping family and friends.
