Hi,my name is Angiebel Ruiz-Lanzot. I'm 20 years old.I live in Boston,MA. I am originally from Puerto Rico. Growing up my weight was always an issue in my life. I was always the fat,chubby girl from my family.When coming to Boston in 2006,leaving my family,spetially my father,was a big shock in my life. I would issolate from people, hide myself and eat whenever people weren't around,and when depressed and down,I would find confort into food. I would eat and eat untill i couldn't have one more bite,or untill I would feel better.I used to weight 155 lbs,and by the end of high school I end up weighting 245 lbs.

Going into College was even more stressful and my health was worsening.I was pre-diabetic,asthmatic,suffering from sleep apnea,depression,self cutting,anxiety,and the list goes on!I would be in and out of the hospital everytime i couldn't breath,with asthma or pneumonia.I was frustrated and wanting to get healthy. I went to the xtreems and starving myself thinking that, that way I would get into a better shape. But the truth was that I gained even more weight.I wanted to get Healthy,I needed a solution.

Fortunatelly,a good friend of mine introduced me to YORHealth.For 2 months I was taking the MRP(it's a meal replacement that helps you balance your body with the right nutrition)and Complete Burn. I went from 286 lbs to 266lbs. And being honest, I was not doing exercise. And my eating habbits weren't the best. I was still eating not as healthy as I should have.After that, she introduced me to the 8 weeks challenge, and that's when my life changed 360 degree! The first cycle, i dropped 22 lbs. This time I was going to the gym 2 times a week, and the days that couldn't go to the gym I would do Zumba or Dancing at home.

This second cycle I was able to maintain my weight for 2 weeks. Then, after changing my workout routines,I have dropped 9 lbs. Making a total of 51 lbs. I'm building a consistant habbits of waking up early morning. Right after waking up,I make a delicious MRP(8 oz)and a Complete Burn. Then I do my routinary stretching for my back pain,wich have gone so much better after dropping wight. When going to the gym for first time, I remember doing 1 mile on the ellipticle on 35 minutes. I thought I was going to pass out. I told myself:"This is not for me. Gym and I don't match!". However, after being consistant to the gym, now I do 1 mile on 9.05 minutes. I also do 10 miles on the bike on 40 minutes. I do some weights and workouts for my arms and legs. I have dropped 2 size dresses from size 4X to 2X. And from 28W of pants to 24 or even 20(deppending the jean or skirts). Right after working out i make another MRP, and by the time i get home around 3:30 I prepare a meal. Then At night I make a MRP smootie(soo delicious and thick and nutricious,love it!).

The 8 Week Challenge has changed my life for better.I don't get depressed anymore,nor anxious. I don't have the craving or the need of cutting myself or abusing of alcohol. My self esteem is way much more elevated than before. I feel more energetic,I'm more active and self aware of what I consume and eat. Being honest, I'm feeling sexier than ever! I'm not ashame of looking myself in the mirror anymore. Because I know that the reflection of the body I see, is not going to last forever. I don't know what my life would be without the 8 Weeks Challenge! Everyday I'm thankful of being introduced to such an amazing company and work with amazing and dedicated and caring people, on the right time in my life. Now all my friends are asking me of what i am doing and they wan to do it too.I can proudly say: "THE 8 WEEKS CHALLENGE HAS CHANGE MY LIFE!!!".
