Hi All,
I have been struggling with weight and have been in the obese category since high school. After leaving high school i have tried so many different things to try and lose weight: Exercise alone, tony ferguson program, celebrity slim shakes, medical vita diet, healthy eating, all of which had minimal if any effect on my weight and usually resulted in me putting weight back on just as fast as it came off.
With all of these failed attempts behind i am now the father of 2 beautiful kids Ellie - 2yrs and Jared - 9mth. I struggle to play with Ellie and keep up with her despite her pleas, Jared will soon be at that stage also, as a father my worst nightmare is to not be able to run around with kids especially my little boy.
I have struggled with Asthma my whole life, as well as more recently being investigated for sleep apnea and a family history of type 2 diabetes, my future was not looking bright if i continued on the path i was on.
After my partner completed her first 8 week challenge i decided to give it a go as the products tasted great, had amazing results and helped her out of sight in all of the areas of my main concern - Sleep, energy, hunger, general health and wellbeing and my biggest enemy weight loss.
I embarked on my 8 week challenge with almost the entire product line under my belt: MRP which i had for breakfast and dinner, Fibre which i mixed into my morning shake, Super Slim which i had 30 mins prior to breakfast, 1 lunch meal and dinner, Multi Vitamins which i had 6 x times a day, Digestive Ultra which i had during my main 2 meals each day, probiotics which i had each night before bed and of course berry blast mixed with my super greens which i had at varying times throughout the day depending on my need for pick me up.
Within days i noticed a massive change, i felt cleaner, had more energy, i wasn't feeling the need for a nap to get me through the day as i wasn't tired all the time, i wasn't hungry, i wasn't cranky, and id dropped an astonishing 7kgs and over 15cms in my first 7 days.
Here i am 8 weeks later having started at a weight of 165kg, i now weigh 139.9kg. I have also lost over 60cms in measurements across my body, over 30 of those cm from my midsection alone. I no longer own a pair of pants that will stay up without the help of a belt, i can already keep up with the kids and find myself being able to play with them so much more. My reliance on daily asthma preventative has dropped to once every few days if that and my quality of sleep has improved out of sight.
This journey which has only just began is one of the best decisions of my life already and i still have so much more to go. With the aim of joining the YOR Health 100lb club, i have my family, friends and the YOR Community around me to give me the support and motivation i need, as if what i have already achieved isn't enough.
