Hi guys, my name is James and I completed the YOR Best Body 8 Week Challenge! And loved every second of it.
I had always struggled with putting on weight and building muscle, not to mention the painful fast moving bowel movements that I got straight after eating. All my life I had been a skinny 6 foot 2 tall pale guy. I had my fathers genes, it was inevitable, I would always be 68kg.
I had always had self confidence coming from being bullied back in primery school, because of my skinny build I never felt like I could stand up for myself. It got to the point I changed schools completely and I guess I started a fresh, still not being able to put on any weight despite eating tuck shop for most meals at school for the last 6 years of my schooling. After leaving school I continued eating what I wanted when I felt like it with no change to my weight or body at all. This continued until sometime in 2006 when I went to watch the movie/documentary “Supersize Me” and I hadn’t even noticed that I had sat down in front of the TV to watch it as my mother walked into the room and just said “are you serious” I was eating a large MacDonald’s meal while watching this doco about people eating too much fast food and how gross it was.
I then decided something needs to change after watching with doco I decided to try the supersize me eating plan! YES that’s right I tried it for 3 weeks before I noticed even eating nothing but MacDonald’s KFC Hungary Jacks for 3 weeks for breakfast lunch and dinner I had still LOST 2.5 kgs.
I have joined a number of gyms and seen no results had a number of PT’s and seen only very small results, spent hundreds if not thousands of $$$ on supplements, vitamins and pre workouts and nothing happened. It wasn’t until 8 months ago my Girlfriend of 5 years now came home and told myself and her sister that she was having a lady come over to do her measurements as she was starting some sort of new supplements with these huge and impressive looking words in there names. As I do I supported her with what she wanted to do but quietly I skeptical. After about 4 hours of talking to Len and Marline both Tegan and myself had signed up to YOR Health’s products.
I was taking the products, was feeling great and was going to gym 3 times a week and was finally seeing some results so 8 weeks and 1 day ago I decided to start this challenge. Gym 4 days a week had a friend of a friend who is a body builder trainer and nutritionist do me an eating plan where I was on 2500kj. My daily eating plan went as follows,
Up at 4am 1 probiotic, 2 vitamins, 2 repairs, breakfast, 3 scoops of MRP, berry blast, Super Greens, 2scoops fiber.
Gym for an hour
Post work out 3 scoops MRP, banana, mixed berries, Chia seeds and LSA mix
Morning tea
Lunch, 1 digest ultra, 2 vitamins
Arvo tea
Dinner, 1 digest ultra, 2 vitamins and 2 repairs
I was also a BIG coke drinker but I was able to manage this addiction with soda water and cordial I now very rarely even thing about drinking coke now.
It was about 2 weeks after starting my challenge that I received my first comment about my weight gain and muscle development, I WAS STOKED… SOMEONE NOTICED, SOMEONE NOTICED WOW… these products where making a difference. As I continued the comments became more frequent and was boosting my self esteem more and more which was a new thing to me =D
I now feel great positive energized pumped and I cant wait to start my next challenge WOOOOOP ;)
