Hello beautiful YOR HEALTH Challengers!!!!!! I did it!!!!!!!!!!! I stayed committed to my 8 weeks to make new habits that would take me to my best version of me, and I was able achieve my goals! Where to start! I have soooooo much to say, it has been 8 weeks of amazing aha moments and self-transformation!
I have been taking the products for a year and a half ago so I have been in a few challenges now, even though I lost weight at the beginning, I had been stuck for a year and a half around the same weight, 73-75 kgs with 38-39 % of fat, and knowing that I have the deep nutrition covered thanks to our amazing products, eat healthy most of the time, exercising here and there, and of course my emotions, and still the same, then I knew I just had to make changes and take this challenge to the next level and that´s what I did.
From day one I was determined to win the challenge, after MIAMI, I read the Compound Effect and started implementing Darren Hardy´s advice, tracking and going step by step and taking it to action. So I became aware of what I was eating, doing and not doing, realizing that I was giving up my end goal for instant gratification many times, of course the Compound Effect was being hold back and was able to Focus!!!
I joined a gym that offers boxing classes, wanted to learn something new so I would keep excited about exercising, keeping my high vibe, at the beginning was like whaaaaaaaat am I doing here!!!!!!! Then I remembered, oh yes WIN the challenge (yes I want to win and inspire and help so many, prove that it is possible!) I am proud that I kept on going and I made it a non negotiable thing, after two weeks I started to feel so much better, and on week 3 I added 30 min of running on the treadmill. It feels awesome to say that I have been going to class for 8 weeks straight, 2 weeks just 3 times a week then the whole week. It´s still challenging, but I love challenges!
After 3 weeks into the challenge I realized that I was not thinking on day 57, going back to old stuff, I was already thinking on when the next challenge was going to end, and by then I had not yet seen external results, I had to trust God that by day 56 I was going to see it, I really mean leap of faith, by the end of September the scale was showing more pounds (168) not less, thankfully by then I was already on track with everything else, I just kept going, I had my promised to do it for the full 8 weeks and quiting was never an option, yes, sometimes I felt like not going to box, to eat pizza that I love most, that this is just how you have to be and it is because of some higher power than you, when you feel like that go see all the inspiring amazing testimonies we have in this community!
I was able to drop 3 kg (6.6 pounds) around 2.5% of fat, so I am now on 70kg (155pounds) yuhu! My body is firmer and shrunk a bit, I feel awesome with the results. I follow the regimen mostly as indicated, Probiotics and Repair Ultra first thing as I wake up, after half an hour I take my supergreens so I help my liver to start fresh and healthy, I take my vitamins 2 of them 3x daily and my digest on every cooked meal. And at night I take another Repair Ultra. This challenge I did not take my shakes because I have this sensitivity to casein and egg. Right on the middle of the challenge I started taking Complete burn 2 capsules in the morning and Super Slim, before lunch.
These were my primary goals:
To gain new habits, consistency and discipline…1. Keep moving: at least 1 hr of exercise daily 2. Connecting with my inner self: By meditation, affirmations, visualization, gratitude and accomplishment journal 3. Daily Coach and reading . On day 56 I can tell you that I am constant and discipline, I daily do each and one of the goals I wrote.
As you can see my goals were not to lose weight and fight it, this time I established making new habits, those that would take me to be the person I wanted to become, not just for 8 weeks, but for life time, consistency and discipline, and that meant also addressing deep emotional issues that of course had taken me to gain all this weight, most of all being true to myself, fulfilling my promise of the 8 weeks, this challenge was with me and thanks to the great platform of the 8 week challenge, the tools like the app, reminding you when to take your products, giving you tips, and keeping you present with the day you are on, I was able to fulfill my goals!
