I used to be a very sporty person, taking part in gymnastics, soccer, boxing/kickboxing, and going to the gym on a regular basis.
About 18months ago I went overseas to Canada for an exchange program for 6 months, and gained 8kg!!
Once I got back (January 2014), I tried to lose the weight but it seemed impossible. I spent my summer locked in the house because I didn't have the confidence to go out in summery clothes.
Winter came around and I was happy to be able to wear baggy clothes, big jumpers and jackets, etc.
I tried to diet, but found that I was always low on energy, had horrible head-aches, was left hungry most the time, and would just be super moody.
One day I noticed one of my friends had posted a before and after photo of himself from the 8 week challenge, and he had gone from looking pregnant to pretty much having abs. I asked how, he told me about the products, and I thought "what do I have to lose other than this excess weight?"
So, I started off with the slim set :)
Within 2 days I felt my energy levels go through the roof. I was waking up without snoozing my alarm 5-7times!
About a week later, I got my first "free with 3" free products, and so the super greens, fibre, and vitamins were added to my set.
I would have the repair and probiotics before bed; for breakfast I would have a shake with 2scoops MRP, 1 berry blast, 1 super greens, (occasionally 1 scoop fibre), walnuts, 1 banana, oats, and frozen berries (I found this really filled me up, gave me amazing energy to last all day, and tasted AMAZING!); 1 digest pill with lunch, and for dinner I would have whatever was available, or another shake (if there wasn't enough time to make dinner)
I only went to the gym 5 times throughout the entire 8 weeks (only focused on cardio), and went on about 3 jogs out of the gym.
My goal was to lose 4kg overall, and within the first 2 week I had already lost 3kg!! My belly had gone in so much, and people were complimenting me left, right and centre. The difference was not only noticeable by me, but by everyone else around me!!
I now fit back into all the clothes that I had given up on, jeans and shirts that I haven't worn in over a year, and I definitely will not be too shy to leave my house this summer :D
On top of all that, I went from having 1-2coffees/energy drinks every day, to having no coffee/energy drinks at all, and I have more energy than ever!
Not only have I lost weight, feel and look better, but my mindset has also developed more than I ever thought it would.
