Upon starting my 8 week challenge I set a goal to achieve the most aesthetic physique I have had to date. To achieve this my aim was to reduce body fat whilst gaining lean muscle mass and an overall look of hardness. During my challenge I always felt energetic, nourished and alert by religiously using all Yor Health products at correct times through out the day.
My starting weight was 105kg with a high body fat percentage. Over the course of the 8 weeks my weight reduced to 101kg, exceeding my original goal of 103kg. During this time I increased muscle mass and definition.
Nutrition:
During the first 4 weeks of my challenge I maintained very clean nutrition, eating 5 times a day at 3 hour intervals. With a healthy macro balance of high protein, low fats and low carbs I started to notice results very quickly.
The last half of my challenge I adopted a variation of Greg Plitt's MFT28 liquid meal plan that incorporated all Yor Health Australia products. During these 4 weeks I saw results at a speed I hadn't experienced before and felt that I was more nourished than I had ever been in the past. This nutrition plan is as follows:
Liquid Meal 1: Mix this up in a blender or nutribullet with fruit, nuts, berries, greek yoghurt, natural honey and almond milk. 2 scoops YOR Shake, 1 serve YOR Fiber Plus, 1 Capsule YOR Repair Ultra, 2 Capsules YOR Super Slim and 2 tablets YOR Essential Vitamin.
Liquid Meal 2: Shake including 1 serve YOR Super Greens, 1 satchel YOR Berry Blast and 2 Scoops YOR Shake Vanilla.
Liquid Meal 3: 2 scoops YOR Shake Chocolate, 2 capsules YOR Super Slim.
Solid Meal: Clean wholefoods with a good macro balance. Not portion controlled, Eat until full. With 1 capsule YOR Digest Ultra and 2 pills YOR Essential Vitamin.
Liquid Meal 4: 1 serve YOR Super Greens, 1 Satchel YOR Berry Blast. (And 2 scoops YOR Shake Vanilla if exercise training again).
Liquid Meal 5: 2 Scoops YOR Shake Chocolate and 2 capsules YOR Super Slim.
Liquid Meal 6: 1 serve YOR Shake Chocolate, 1 Serve YOR Fiber Plus, 1 capsule YOR Repair Ultra, 2 pills YOR Essential Vitamin and 1 capsule YOR Probiotics Ultra.
Cardio:
I completed 30 minutes of high intensity interval training between meal 1 and 2. My favourite form of HIIT was hill sprints and burpees at Wellington point next to the bay. I did this 3 times a week.
Weight training:
I completed weight training between my solid meal and liquid meal 4. During the first 4 weeks of my challenge I focused on heavy weights and strength training. During the last half of my challenge I changed this up and focused on low weight and high reps to increase muscle definition and separation. During both halves of the challenge each muscle group was trained each week. I completed weight training 5 times a week ensuring that I gave my body sufficient rest days twice a week.
I can confidently say now that I am at the end of my challenge that I have never felt or looked this good in my life. I feel confident, driven and believe that I am capable of anything I put my mind to. I am truly thankful to the friend that introduced me to the Yor best body challenge and recommend it with great passion to all my friends and family.
I'm looking forward to the festive season and feeling confident on the Gold Coast beaches this summer, bring on 2015!!
