WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!!
GOAL
My challenge goal was definitely one that is different from many others, who plan on just shredding fat; I had the goal of adding 4kg of lean mass and losing body fat simultaneously, which to some, is one of the most difficult things to achieve!! Not only did I have to train harder, but I had to ‘think outside the box’ and change my routines to hit this goal; but with an amazing set of products, it is a goal I have ACHIEVED!!!
STATS
STARTING WEIGHT: 66.4kg @ 17.5% body fat
AFTER WEIGHT: 70.1kg @ 15.5% body fat
HEIGHT: 163cm
Firstly, some quick background information on myself; apart from working and studying full-time, I used to train as a boxer for 2 years between 2010-2012 and had always struggled to put on weight. Regardless of how much I used to eat, I could never weigh above 52kg. I was constantly told, because of my fast metabolism, its nearly impossible for me to pack on muscle mass. After sustaining numerous of injuries in boxing, through having to train with people weighing 25kg+ heavier than me, I knew I couldn’t go on like that!! Despite what people said, at that point, I decided to pursue an interest in health and fitness and take the gym seriously EVERY SINGLE DAY, through blood, sweat and tears! In 2 years of training, I hit a plateau of 66kg (a 14kg gain) however, wanted to reach my ideal weight of 70kg, as it would be the most I should weigh for my height.
I always saw people achieving great results from the 8WC, but never took action to complete one myself. After trying the products for the first time in Feb2014, I managed to lose 2kg in 2 weeks and felt nothing but cleansed on the inside. I had used the products every single month, as I was hooked on them, but felt that I could push myself to do something that a lot of people struggle with, and that is losing body fat while gaining muscle mass. I didn’t complete the challenge for myself, I did it to show some of my friends, that it is possible. And with the YOR Health range, I certainly believe anyone can achieve amazing results!! It definitely helped achieve more muscle roundness and no gut. I have always recommended people to try it, but this time, I have been able to show people that I have physically achieved it!! It has certainly created a feeling of accomplishment.
TRAINING
I had incorporated a new training regime, which consisted of training 6 days a week, and targeting each muscle twice a week (focusing on heavy-weight sets). After Week 4, I also included light cardio after each workout.
PRODUCTS
In my challenge, I used YOR Supergreens and Fibre Plus upon waking to saturate my body in nutrients and also clean out my digestive system. Before breakfast, I had a Repair Ultra capsule to provide much needed antioxidants and recovery from the workouts on the previous day. During my day I would take MRP twice, once as a snack as I’m usually out for the day, and the other serving as a post-workout shake for its great protein and carbohydrate profile. YUMMY!! Digest Ultra was taken twice a day, following my main meals (Brekky and Lunch) to help digest the larger meals, and assist in keeping me awake throughout the day. Lastly, before bed, I took another Repair Ultra capsule on an empty stomach to finish the exhausting day I just had.
