Before the 8 week challenge, I felt like the ugliest guy on Earth. I was told from other people that I was attractive, but I didnt see it with all the bumps on my face, the beer pot belly (and i dont drink) that didnt match my medium build frame, and my girly nipples. To top it off, I had an alergic reaction which cause visible scars on my shoulders and back. So i was never confident about myself and saw how it affected every aspect of my life. I didn't peform well in work, drew away from the World, and questioning my own existence. I felt like I was a mistake since I am the only one born out of wedlock. I had no clue that my health played such a big role for me. I felt like a failure and honestly, their were times i would have thoughts of suicide because of how I felt.
When I was introduced to this 8 week challenge, I saw the 1st place results for the 1st 8 week challenge cycle for the scuplt category, Con Le, and thought that is going to me. I saw the other contestants and knew I had a chance, so i decided to participate. After being hospitalized for pcp nuamonia (sorry for the spelling) because I wasn't eating right, smoke cigarettes, and exercise here and almost never there; i knew this is what I had to do because this challenge would be my hero. For once in my life, I had something to fight for...winning first place! I thought why not freaking me! Change starts with me! At 34 years old, this is it!
I use the scuplting set along with the insanity workout. That way, I would have energy before my workouts, proper nutrition afterwords, due to proper digestion, eating the right foods without dieting; and recovering from those crazy HARD workouts that I do 5 times a week. I had times I wanted to give up, but I want to win first place and stayed consistent down to the last day of the challenge! That's amazing to me since I've never been consistent with anything on my own or someone to push me.
Now, Oh My God! I feel like crying. I look better then i did in my 20s then I am at 34yo. No more pot belly. I ran track in highschool and still couldnt get rid of it. I stare in the mirror for 20 minutes amazed at my results because I feel mentally, physically, and spiritually attractive. I dont smoke cigarettes, my face is clearer, my wardrobe is changing, i love the way my shirts hug me, I walk with my head up, my attitude is different, I smile more, and I feel like a new me because I feel pro-life thanks to this 8 week challenge. Who knew! my goal was 185lbs being at 178lbs. At first, i was scared i was losing weight since I'm able to wear a small size shirt and even that's loose on me. To my surprise, I gained weight which is wierd and awesome. Wow! To make things better, this focus has helped me in other aspects of my life if I apply the same principles. My next 8 week challenge goal is to build muscle. The following is to be cut up. A new me every 8 weeks...I like the sound of that! Thanks for changing my life forever. I LOVE YOR HEALTH!
