8 Weeks ago I was feeling my age.I am 35, I have 4 kids and had fallen into the trap of not great nutrition, high stress levels that I managed with wine which had given me a tummy which i affectionately named “my wine shelf”
To combat my wine at night I was Needing a rather large Coffee in the morning daily. In general, I was not really feeling good about myself but had got into such a routine that I really didn’t feel like i could change. I had resigned myself to "middle agedom” - being a little bit over weight which I had justified in my mind with things like “you look good for your age and you look better that most women with 4 kids” essentially I was trying to lie to myself but on the inside was feeling pretty low.
Scott, my husband suggested we do the 8 week challenge, to be honest i didn’t think much was going to change. At that stage I had not taken any of the YOR Health product and really didn’t think anything would be different. How wrong I was. I got started with the Go Greens pack. After a week I noticed I didn’t feel like having a wine. After 2 weeks I had more energy than I'd had in a long time and after 3 weeks I had stopped needing coffee.
I started training at the gym again only twice a week at first but I hadn’t really been at the gym since I was pregnant with my 3 year old son. I am enjoying going to the gym again. My head is feeling clear and I am able to work more effectively and I feel that I am calmer with the kids. My body is looking and feeling awesome and I feel like I am 20 again. I am so grateful to my husband for suggesting the 8 week challenge. It has not only given me my body back but has put the spark back in my relationship because I am feeling good about myself.
