My name is Susie Wong. I have struggled to be in control of my weight my whole life. I love food! I love eating! I appreciate food! I have always had a hard time controlling myself when it comes to food. There have been times where I would hide food and eat in private so people won’t judge and criticized me. I would be ashamed on how much food I would eat in one meal. I am just like everyone else, I have always felt the pressure from my parents, friends, and society that ‘I know better than eating all of that junk’ and ‘I should make better choices.’ When I eat uncontrollably I would lie to myself and say ‘next time I will change’ or I would find another easy reason to say ‘eating this right now is OK’. This mentally ate away at my confidence and integrity every single day. I felt stuck. Because I didn’t know how to get out of this nasty cycle I was living.
I tried everything from eating better, to products with high promises and no long-term results. I also tried many diets where I would lose a few pounds the first or two months, but because I couldn’t consistency keep the weight off I would lose hope again.
I live in a fast paced world, always on the go, and a sociable lifestyle. I need convenience and healthier alternatives so I don’t always fall victim to the fast foods, overly snacking, dinner parties, emotional cravings, office stress food cravings, holiday food traditions, etc. I needed a long-term solution where I can stay consistent. I work a demanding stressful full time job and I don’t always have the time to cook every single meal I eat. Throughout the day I need the energy to stay alert and be on point with my work. I can’t afford to get sick and be out of work, so the best protection for my health is prevention and give my body the best chance to not catch what my co-worker had last week. With the lack of energy I didn’t want to turn to energy shots or energy drinks to still have a good time with my friends.
When I decided to join the YOR Best Body challenge, I wanted to commit to be stronger physically, and consciously choose to be healthier daily. I started at 136lbs and aimed to lose 16lbs to be at 120lbs. I am proud to be 126lbs today because I wanted to be in control of my food choices but I didn’t want to live without eating either. My typical day starts off with rushing to work starving for a light breakfast or a YOR MRP with YOR Supergreens. Before I have lunch or dinner I take the YOR Digestive Ultras and YOR Vitamins. The YOR Complete Burn really pumps me up before I go to the gym at least 2 – 3 times a week after work. Before I go to bed, I take YOR Probiotic Ultra and YOR Repair. On occasions I would take a YOR Berry Blast before I go out with my friends when I need an energy boost that is low in calories. I am not prefect and the truth is that there are times where I forget to take the products but I get right back on it the next day. Temptations to go back to my old habits are everywhere but falling back on these products is one of the easier choices to make than feeling guilty eating something that I shouldn’t.
I feel amazing and stronger, more than I have ever felt. I feel confident that I can stick with this regimen and make this part of my lifestyle.
