After indulging a little over the Christmas period and new year and with a planned bulk i had put on a bit more weight than i liked. I had also been inconsistent with using the YOR Health products. A couple of weeks before the 8 week challenge i began to refocus my diet. After a couple of weeks of dieting i was struggling a little with lower calories and keeping my training consistent.
I decided to really commit to my diet and nutrition and achieve my end goal of stepping on stage for my first fitness model competition. This in turn lead me to focus on the YOR Health products for my contest prep and as interim goal i signed up to the 8 week challenge.
My starting was 87kg and initally i had set myself the goal of 81kg, however i surpassed this goal and weighed in this morning at 79kg.
The products i used consistently during my 8 week challenge were the Supergreens, Fibre, Berry Blast, Digestive Enzymes, Essential Vitamins, Probiotic and Repair.
Each morning i would get up early for a walk, i would take a scoop of Super greens with half a Berry Blast to energise my morning walk or run. Getting up at 5;30am to fit in cardio was tough, but the energy boost given to me by the Superblast would have me powering through my cardio.
Later in the morning with breakfast i would have another scoop of Supergreens with a scoop of fibre and my essential vitamins and digestive enzyme.
Lunchtime i would take some more vitamins and a digestive enzymes.
I would go to the gym each evening after work, i would take another half serving of berry blast to energise my workouts after a long day of work.
Dinner and my post work out meal, which is the most important of the day i would take another digestive enzyme. During the evening i would sip on a scoop of fibre to help with digestion.
I found as the weeks progressed how much the digestion of my meals where vastly improved thanks to the digestive enzymes, and despite being in calorie deficit i felt my body was optimizing all the nutrients i was providing it with. The digestive enzymes and fibre i felt played the biggest role in helping break down and allow my body absorb all the macro and micro nutrients i was eating.
The vitamins and super greens ensured i didn't miss out vital and essential micronutrients keeping me fit and healthy during the entire 8 week challenge and i didn't not miss a single workout through my challenge, in fact my health had never been better.
Before bed i took one probitotic, at times in the past i have had stomach and digetions issues, however during the 8 week challenge and consistently taking the probiotic never once did i have any stomach or digestions issues.
Also i would take two repair, these would allow me to train twice a day 6 days week, one session would be cardio and second session would be resistance training. Each morning i would wake up to start my cardio feeling refreshed from the previous day thanks to the repair.
The challenge has had a big impact on my life, i have never been in better physical shape and internally my digestion and stomach issues are a thing of the past. The products and 8 week challenge helped me remain on track and focused during my contest prep, if i felt vulnerable to wavering of my diet or missing a training session i would look at the previous entrants of the 8 week challenged and be inspired to achieve the success of finishing an 8 week challenge just like they did.
The products and online support have allowed me to get in the best shape of my life and in one weeks time i will achieve my goal of stepping on stage for my first fitness model competition.
