My name is Tricia Aspilaire. All my life, I was known as the 'skinny girl with nice curves ". Self Confidence was not part in my vocabulary, neither was exercising. Eating healthy for me meant depriving myself from food. I thought by doing so, my curves would disappear, and would look proportionate. Last year , around the same time , I lived off water all day, began to dislike food ,which resulted to the beginning of anorexia. I had no energy, walking around the block would make me tired and out of breath. After around 6 months of therapy, doctors visits and taking my Yor Health products, mostly the YOR Vanilla Shake,Vitamins and Supergreens , I was able to gain the 15 pounds that I lost and added another 5 pounds. However, the symptoms of tiredness after walking remained.
When I got introduced to the 8 weeks challenge, I saw an opportunity to challenge myself to become fit, to attempt to like exercising, and for the first time of my life to become confident about my body. I began the challenge weighing 137 pounds and ended with 131 pounds. Turned out to be that taking my Yor Health products was essential during the 8 weeks, mostly the Complete Burn. I took 2 Complete burns before each workout once a day, 6 times a week. I started off with one machine every single day, then slowly but surely, I was able to use every single machine at the gym, lift weight , stretch, push my body like I never did before. I gave up going to the gym for 2 weeks , then i made the decision to never stop again , because of the amount of work that it requires in order to get back to the same level. I learned self discipline through going to the gym every day. Exercising has become a lifestyle for me today, and I fell in love with the gym because it turned out to be one of the many places where my body and mind can overcome any boundaries with persistence and vision.
As far as my eating habit, it changed drastically. I learned that eating less was not the solution to good dieting. I forced myself to have 6 small meals a day. The Yor Shake twice a day made it easier for me .I would have a post workout shake and another one before going to bed.
Transforming my body through the 8 weeks challenges has become one of the best rewarding experience that i ever had . I am confident and most importantly I am skinny with lean muscle, and this is sexy !!!
