Hi everyone my name is Alvina and this is my first time entering the YOR Health 8 week challenge. It's been an incredible experience, one that's been challenging but so rewarding!!

Prior to entering this challenge I wasn't in the best shape mentally, emotionally and physically. Whilst I was never considered to be overweight, I certainly wasn't treating my body right as I would eat whatever I wanted whenever I wanted until my heart and tummy was content. I do shift work, which involves working dayshift 12pm-8pm and nightshift 8pm-4am alternating between the two every two months. Very often I would skip breakfast as I would struggle to wake up early enough and have my first meal at work and then eat out after work, even after finishing at 4am. I was living this lazy, no energy lifestyle and I wasn't very happy at all.

I was going through a rough time with some personal circumstances and my confidence and self esteem was getting lower and lower and I just didn't like the person I saw looking back at me every time I looked in the mirror. I woke up one day and something just clicked and I decided there and then that I wanted and needed to make health and fitness a priority in my life. It was time to make a lifestyle change and that's when I reached out to my friend Chris who helped get me started on this challenge.

I had been taking the products on and off for two months and prior to entering the challenge, I had probably set foot in the gym about ten times in this lifetime. I had no form or foundation and I was never a fan of doing exercise. I wanted that dream body but I guess not enough as I lacked the motivation to get myself to the gym and train for it. This time round I was determined to make sure it was different. My goal for this challenge was to lose fat and tone up. Getting abs would be the dream. I got myself a pt and committed myself to training at least 3-4 times a week, mostly weight sessions with one cardio session per week. But we started off slow, as I really wanted to get the basics right before hitting the heavy stuff. At the start of this challenge I weighed in at 63.5kg with 27.8%BF. By the end of 8 weeks I was only down to 62.3kg but I am now at 20.3%BF. I managed to burn a lot of the fat off, especially around my tummy area! Didn't quite get the abs but I'm not going to give up! My trainer, along with taking these products, have been the best investment to my journey into having a fit and healthy lifestyle.

Every morning upon waking I would make myself a shake with supergreens, berry blast and fiber. This combo is my favourite. Tastes amazing and gives me enough energy to last throughout the day. With this I take the essential vitamins. I believe these vitamins are the main reason why my skin has cleared up so much!! During every main meal I would take the ultra digest. I usually take the mrp for breakfast before my workout or sometimes I have it in replacement for dinner. At night I take two repair ultras to help improve my muscle recovery and the probiotic just before bed.

Overall I have never felt better about my health and completing this challenge has helped given me my confidence back as I now have a healthier state of mind. I have learnt to love and appreciate my body and my journey doesn't end here. I will continue to take these products and train hard to be the best possible version of me, for me.
