Hello, I lived the normal life as a teenager until the most devastating tragedy that everybody fears happened. That tragedy was the passing of my mother 3 years ago. I lost the closes person to me on the planet. Not only did I loose a mother, I lost a best friend, my first love and my world. In just a week of her doctors diagnosing her with ovarian cancer my mother passed. My mother had passed away 2 weeks before my 16th birthday. Not only did my mom pass away but I had to carry her casket to her burial with my father and oldest brother. I went into severe depression after that day. I even fainted when they lowered her casket as I threw the last rose on her casket. I started looking at life very differently, didn’t see a purpose in life because the only person that loved me unconditionally had been gone in a blink of an eye. I didn’t really know what my life would be without my mother until I actually had no choice but to live it, day in and day out. I was very skinny and pale not very athletic, never ate or slept. I always thought I was never going to be as happy as I was when my mom was around. I didn’t get any support from my family so I eventually started living on the streets of New Britain, CT. Maybe you have never lived on the streets before or in your own car but that basically mean that you don’t know the next time you’re going to eat. It means you don’t have a roof over your head, no heat, and no hot water, nowhere to brush your teeth. At 16 not being able to even brush your teeth is very unimaginable. Had it not been for the fact that school had lunch time every day I wouldn’t have ate all day. Since I was in the toughest part of my life I knew from this point on things could get better. Although I was struggling to eat and maintain good hygiene I still stayed positive that one day my life will change.
Since the time of my mother’s passing I have been getting over the fact she is gone by the help of my friends and family. Now since being a part of this challenge I know that I can share this with people that come from the same walks of life as me and become a great role model to anyone with whatever situation.
So I set my goal very high because I thought it was not possible for me to gain even 1 pound of weight since I was always skinny with a fast metabolism and didn’t really have the best diet since the passing of my mother. When I made this goal I made it a point that I had to make it a priority that I had to take my goal seriously and actually follow the regimen of the products. So I started going to the gym 3 times a week Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for only an hour. During this challenge I was not really dieting because I wanted to be able to eat whatever I wanted and still have the body I’ve always wanted. One product that I made sure to take every day was the vanilla mrp shake. Since I started seeing results in my overall strength and recovery I started becoming more positive about reaching my goals. Now 8 weeks later I look at my before and after pictures and I cannot believe it was even possible that I was able to put almost 5 pounds of muscle on my body. I am product of the product. Now that I know I did the unbelievable. I know that I would never have any doubts in anything I do EVER.
