From recluse to proud of who I am
My name is Vicky Olson and I am from Queensland Australia also known as the Sunshine State. However I am not your average Queenslander, young, slim and tanned. Instead up until 8 weeks ago I was an overweight, unhappy, 45 year old recluse.
Before I had my son 22 years ago I had always been a slim person. Due to a few medical issues in my sons early years, I became the person who would always put everybody else first and of course myself last. I had always been an emotional eater but in two different ways. I would lose a lot of weight when I had huge emotional upheavals in my life and I would eat a lot when I had too much going on in just my normal everyday fast paced life. The last couple of years I had become a recluse, too embarrassed to go out because I felt ugly. The only shops I would go out to were supermarkets to buy groceries. I hadn’t bought clothes for my wardrobe in over two years. I know there are a lot of people out there in the world who weigh a lot more than me but in my mind I felt that everybody would be looking at me. I had tried many so called weight loss programs and even tried to do it myself.
I was introduced to YOR Health by my son and started the 8 week best body challenge after a wake up call when at my doctors. I have never had any major health issues, but this last time I went to the doctors because I was feeling lethargic and unwell in myself weight wise. I was shocked when told my blood pressure was high. I have never had high blood pressure and this scared me. I thought I am only 45 years old and yet I feel 60, and my body was now telling me if I don’t do something I could be in real trouble.
The YOR Health best body challenge has been the greatest personal thing I have ever done for myself. Since starting on the YOR Health products I now feel the healthiest I have ever been. Within 2 days of starting YOR Health products I had lost all cravings for fatty and sugary foods and most of all I had quit my addiction to soft drinks. While using these products I have had an abundance of energy allowing me to exercise more. I have exercised more in the last 8 weeks than I have exercised in my entire life.
Never did I think I would drink anything green but having the Super greens and Berry blast that has changed all that. I have these every morning before my morning WALK. (a testament in itself). I still have huge amounts of energy at the end of the day. No more yawning at 3.00pm as was the norm every afternoon. Now I cycle 20kms every afternoon. The MRP shake is my favourite product. Not only does it taste great, I can’t wait to get up in the mornings to have my shake for breakfast. I used to have a huge number of different vitamin bottles taking over my kitchen bench but now I have been able to throw all of these away and have replaced them with only three bottles, the probiotic ultra, essential vitamins and digest ultra.
I started the 8 week YOR best body challenge at 175lbs and now am down to 154lbs. I now have the tools and products for me to continue to get to my goal weight of 132lbs. As well as achieving this weight loss I now have a different mindset about what healthy living means. YOR Health has now become a way of life for me.
