I am 34 years old and my before weight was 109 lbs and the final weight for my challenge is 111 lbs. Gaining weight has always been challenging for me because I have fast metabolism and low energy level, so no matter how much I ate, I always looked skinny and barely had defined muscles. Therefore, I finally decided to take part in the 8-Week Challenge in the Sculpt Category. My goal was to build some lean and defined muscles, get abs definition and to build up my endurance level along with continuingly using the entire YOR Health product line. I also added lean meat, protein and good carbohydrate to my diet along with working out consistently which helped me not only to start sculpting, having defined abs, but also feeling healthier & stronger than I did at the beginning of my challenge.
My wake up call to make my health as my number one priority was right after I had a direct contact and accident with an SUV truck while I was crossing the road in September 2010. I could had died or gotten paralyzed but thank god that I was very fortunate to had survived this accident. However as a result of this accident, I started feeling pain spike in my left trapezius area, plus I was working 10 hours desk job on the computer and phone so this made my health, circulation and pain even worse. This started to affect my neck, shoulder, eyes and my legs from not moving around much; I did not have time to eat snacks, had late lunch which was for only 30 minutes and I use to gulp down my lunch super fast due to hunger. I realized that all of this was affecting my health tremendously and I needed to make changes.
Throughout my challenge, my product regimen was the following: Upon waking up, after my work out and late at night, I had 3 scoops of Yor shake with 1 Scoop Fiber; 3 Yor Vitamins in the morning and 3 again at night; 1 Yor Digest Ultra with every meal, 1 Yor Repair Ultra in the morning and 1 at night; 1 Yor CompleteBurn before my workout, 1 Yor Probiotic at night along with 1 scoop Supergreen in 8 oz water. Also occasionally, I would have 1 BerryBlast anytime during the day to keep me cool in the hot weather. Also, I made changes in my dietary routine by reducing my sugar in-take, bad carbohydrate and fried food.
During my 8-week challenge, I worked out about 5 times per week on average. I was always motivated when it came to going to the gym but most importantly I was committed. I was very determined to prove to myself that I can do this and I kept going even if it was raining, windy, cold or hot weather; I had no excuses. I was also excited to see my results!
As a result, this challenge has had positive impact on my life because through the 8-week challenge, I was able to form a habit of clean eating, consistently worked out every week, was daily on top of my Yor Product Regimen and today I have achieved some defined lean muscles, got defined Abs, have better endurance level now, feeling more healthier and stronger today.
