My name is Shane and I'm 32 years old. After getting back from my Honeymoon mid year I was really struggling to get back into a routine and was lacking motivation and energy to lose the weight I had put on while I was away and get back my fitness I had lost. The football season had just finished and turning 33 during the off-season I thought I was on a fast track to retirement.
When I decided to take up the YOR Best Body Challenge my goals were simple. I wanted to lose 4-5kgs during a period of the year that I have usually gained 4-5kgs almost every year for the past decade. I also wanted to regain some fitness and improve my energy levels so that I could enjoy a healthier lifestyle.
At the beginning of the 8 week challenge I was 84.4kg with a body fat percentage of 17.5%. I am now 80.0kg with a body fat percentage of 14.9%. I have not only been able to lose the weight and reduce my body fat percentage, but I have also increased my strength and fitness to a level it hasn't been for 5 years. Rather than retiring from football this off-season I now feel that I am capable of playing for at least another 5 years!!
Using the full YOR Health Product range a typical day during my 8 week challenge consisted of:
Waking up and having a Super Shake with 2 x Scoops YOR Shake Vanilla, 1 x Scoop YOR Super Greens, 2 x Scoops YOR Fiber Plus and 1 x Scoop YOR Berry Blast. I would also take 2 x YOR Essential Vitamin and 1 x YOR Super Slim. This gave me an amazing amount of energy to start the day.
Prior to main meals for lunch and dinner I would take 1 x YOR Digest Ultra, 2 x YOR Essential Vitamin and 1 x YOR Super Slim.
Prior to training sessions I would have a YOR Berry Blast so that I can train at a high intensity. I would have 2 x Scoops of YOR Shake Vanilla or Chocolate at the completion of a workout to increase the benefits of the workout. Sometimes this would replace a main meal for lunch or dinner.
Every night before bed I take the YOR Probiotics and YOR Repair to help recovery while I sleep. This has also improved the quality of sleep as I am no longer waking up multiple times during the night and I am also finding it much easier to get to sleep.
I have found that after taking all the YOR products mentioned above I have been waking up much earlier and with a lot more energy. This gets me off to a great start to the day and has allowed me to accomplish more than ever within my day. My health and wellness has dramatically improved giving me a much improved quality of life!!
