CHALLENGE test 31/3/16
After winning the Australian Best Body Championship we left for big travels over Christmas. 8 weeks of travelling in Europe and North America I was well and truly ready for another 8 week challenge. Same amount of time - 8 weeks - I was abusing my body with Christmas treats, fatty high sugar meals in Czech Republic. It tastes so good… Taste good but make me feel VERY sluggish, tired and with no energy. This was not anything I was after and was looking forward to be back in Australia to get back on track.
When you have 8 weeks with no exercise and virtually no healthy food, it’s pretty hard to get back into routine. My first 3 weeks in the challenge was really tough and I couldn’t get back into it. Everything has changed after my birthday and I said enough! I was motivated but that is nothing that would take me too far, I need some discipline. Needed to stick to something and get accountable. I have teamed up with two friends (Lucie and Lucie) who started new regimen with me.
As a real human guinea pigs we started experimenting with ketogenic diet. It does not actually feel like a diet but its very effective. Thanks to YOR for all the supplements which definitely helps to replenish the missing parts in our food intake and help to digest all the meats and fats I’ve been eating.
My daily regimen has been same for last couple years(and I believe that is one of the reasons Czech republic did not have too drastic effect on our health). First thing in th morning I have been having my Super Shake containing water, 1 scoop of Super greens, 2 scoops of YOR Fibre, 1,5 scoop of YOR Shake and recently I’ve been adding 30ml of quality oil such as Macadamia or Olive oil.
With cooked meals(usually 2xday) I take 1 capsule of Digest Ultra and 2 tablets of Essential Vitamins.
Before I go to bed I have 1 capsule of Probiotics and 2 capsules of Repair Ultra.
I love my Berry Blast and having 1 or 2 a day(most days) for a taste and nice energy support.
I have got YOR Shake on me all the time and when I need a snack and there is no good option to get around.
As we have at home 10 months old baby boy, I haven’t been exercising very much in last couple months(I know crap excuse).My routine is: 1 or 2 a week a surf session and 2x time HIIT training outdoors with friends, 30 mins sessions. Exercise is really just 20% of the results so keeping myself disciplined about food and taking YOR products properly is the key to have a life full of energy with the body you really want...
The truth is that this time I was really committed for 5 weeks only but my body bounced back very easy as soon as I got into my routine and followed disciplines. As I did not exercise as much as I thought I would, I lost couple kilos and ended on 78kg. I can actually move in the water while surfing much easier.
