I have known for years that my large belly was pointing me to an unhealthy future. Besides that, I knew that feeling like an ‘OLD MAN’ was optional, that It is my fault. My 197 pounds was making life miserable. I looked fat, my over-sized clothes didn’t fit anymore, it was hard to dress, I had low energy, and I suffered bloating regularly.
After having been introduced to the Yor Health products by Michael Mo, being invited by Aida Martinez, and sampling some of the products, I investigated the company, its practices, its products and its philosophy; I was in. The nutrients I needed were already in the products offered; the rest I needed was to get reasonable about the amount of food I eat.
I knew that my many reasons for eating so much were part of the problem (habitual/expected mealtimes, typical meal sizes, to improve my emotional feelings, boredom, social expectations). I was out of control, and suffering for it.
I later learned that I was not digesting my food very efficiently, which caused the bloating, cravings, and other problems.
I bought the 360 promo kit, and started the program. My goal was to lose weight, get into shape, and stop feeling like an old man. I was surprised that my ‘feeling like an old man’ was the first to go.
Taking the Yor Digest Ultra before a meal, and the YOR Shake and YOR Supergreens between meals, I found after three days that I wasn’t craving excess food, felt younger already, and could easily eat less.
Seeing that, I decided to join the others and take the 8-Week challenge, believing it would give me some extra incentive to stay focused on my goals.
On my third day of the challenge, I went on a three day fast, recalling my previous experience with fasting. Previously, I had learned that ‘feeling hungry’ was caused by my stomach ‘expecting’ food. I remembered that if I was confident about not eating a meal at any time, my stomach would not get filled with the digestive juices that cause the feeling of being hungry. I knew that after long periods of fasting, until my fat ran very low, I would still maintain 70-80% of my normal energy levels. I could monitor my energy levels, and plan for my food needs according to what activities I had planned. Just sitting at the computer, or doing casual activities, I could very easily just live off the fat I had stored, but I still took the shake and greens, just to be sure.
I started losing weight right away, and got excited about that. This excitement helped me stay focused all along the journey.
Over the next weeks, I stuffed myself on occasions (mostly social gatherings), skipped meals, had small nutritious snack-sized meals, and generally kept in mind that my fat was all the food I really needed, until that ran out.
I have a very long list of benefits I have noticed. I was surprised when I found myself doing things like I used to do (like running up stairs, skipping every other one, not needing to lean on the shower walls while washing my legs and feet, bouncing off the walls with extra energy (no caffeine) and ‘just having’ to go on long walks, etc.) AS for exercise, over the 8 weeks, I spent 15 minutes swimming, 3 hourw walking,
Someone taught me that eating healthy was about 1) proper nutrition and 2) eating quantities, on average, that were appropriate for my goals. So when I was attracted to some food, I would often stop and pinch my belly fat, and say to myself “You already have plenty of food, stored right there. Don’t forget your goals.” And I would pass on it.
Traveling my journey this way, I did not feel like I was dieting (Diets are from the Devil!). Instead, I was simply being sensible, and having respect for my body.
Aida scheduled an 8-week celebration party for me, and that was also extra incentive for me. (
While 20lbs in 8 weeks may seem like a lot, it was quite easy for me. Not because I had a lot of will power like some have suggested, but just a sensible way of approaching my goals. That means for me that going into the future, I already have the approach that will guarantee me that without any extra effort, I can finish reaching my goals, and keep the weight off indefinitely.
I already feel and behave at least 10 years younger.
Next, I plan to trade some of the remaining 20lbs of fat I want to lose in on muscle.
My heartfelt thanks to Yor Health for the quality products and program.
