Being on the challenge has helped transform my life not only physically but mentally as well. Before the challenge I have always been someone to struggle with my weight in which it would go up and down frequently. I would hit the gym, then I would stop, I would eat right, then I would stop, I would try different plans, then I would stop. It was always an ongoing cycle for me.
Before starting this challenge my highest weight was about 152 lbs for a female 5 feet 4 inches. I was technically in the "overweight" category. Some understand, or may know someone who struggled with weight and it gets to a point where you give up because you think... "it just wont happen to me" "I will never be fit"
In starting this 8 week challenge I began at 145 lbs with the sudden loss of some weight, ambitious to go into the sculpt category.

My routine with my schedule was to go to the gym Monday, Wednesday, Friday and either Saturday or Sunday depending on the weekend. I ran 1 mile on the treadmill at a high pace to burn calories and then begin my workout on which ever body parts I would focus on. In this 8 week period, I worked on my legs, abdomen, and arms.
Since I am not an expert on the best workouts to do in and out of the gym, I struggled in the beginning to pick up the pace and gain a level of consistency.
With time I learned about my body, my limitations, my mentality. I began to take every obstacle in the gym, in my lifestyle, in the choices of food and I would make it a game... Who will win the battle, who is stronger, and I made sure it was me!
The challenge has taught me about hard work, consistency, relentlessness, and when you feel like you can't anymore, you push just that little bit more to get the results you want.
I finish the challenge very far from my goal of toning up my target areas of my legs and abdomen. The last week of the challenge I went to the hospital with a severe kidney infection that put me out of any physical activity what so ever for over a week.L Luckily with the products I have been able to make the best of the infection maintain my healthy balanced diet. Instead of 5 lbs I lost 7.5 lbs which is a great accomplishment and now I can't wait to restart my next challenge healthy and stronger than ever!
