Using the great products of YorHealth has really improved my daily regimen when it comes to eat, sleep and work out.
Morning:
I started every morning with a shake consisting of water, Berry Blast, Supergreens and a drop of Bare Oil Lemon. Somedays I even added a scoop of YorShake chocolate when I felt like I needed something heavier to start my day with.
Together with that I always enjoy a nice bowl of oat meal, in which I pour down the powder from a capsule of Yor Digest Ultra, in order to activate my body to break down AND absorb food easier. By stirring the powder in my oat meal, it's easy to see the effect of it and how that is going to affect the food that I eat as well.
Midday:
Sitting in an office landscape daily can imply a higher risk to get infected by other people who may be ill. But thanks to using the Bare Oils Purify and Eucalyptus, I've always managed to clear the air that I breathe. Not to mention the people around me who noticed the smell and got curious about the nice aroma that spreads very fast within seconds when opening the bottle.
In order for me to stay alert during the afternoons, I used to take either a Berry Blast or rub some Boost oil on my temples. Since I've never liked to drink coffee in my life, I consider this a great midday pick-me up whenever my body lacks energy. Unlike coffee and tea, that people usually need to consume a few times a day, with Berry Blast I only need a sachet and I'm good to go for the rest of the day.
Workout:
Besides working out at the gym for 3-4 times a week, I'm an avid basketball fan and play once a week to get my dose of cardio for the week.
Using the Bare Oils Eucalyptus and Frankincense together with Peppermint has helped me a lot when it comes to prevent and soothe sore muscles before and after my workouts.
Speaking of, did I mention that I use the Peppermint oil instead of chewing gum after my meals? :)
Another hobby of mine is bouldering since it really activates the whole body from hands to arms, shoulders, core and legs. True story: After having a minor flesh wound on a finger from bouldering, I poured 1-2 drops of lavender and tea tree oil on the finger once a day, because of their abilities to repair the skin.
And I could hardly believe my eyes when I removed my plaster after tree days. The deep wound was completely gone and proved to me how fast the effects of the oils can really be.
Night:
Before bedtime I like to take a hot shower that I end with turning it cool. Why, you may ask since I'm living in Sweden.
Besides improving the immune system, it also helps me to get to fall asleep easier. Right before I sleep I rub some Sweet Dreams oil on my ankle and put some drops on my pillow as well to get more relaxed.
Just like I rub Boost oil on my temples to get more alert during the day, I rub some Lavender and Clear Mind oil to prepare my body to relax.
By participating in Yor Best Body parallell to my challenge to go vegan during November, I've been more focused than ever on what I eat. Since the vegan challenge lasted for a whole month, I was first afraid whether it would have a negative impact or not on my training and health overall.
Even though I ate less and felt more fatigued in the beginning of my vegan period, I slowly found the balance in eating the right amount to be able to continue my ordinary workout just like before.
The fact that vegans are very restricted when it comes to food, made me want to prove that one doesn't neccessarily need to eat many pounds of meat in order to gain muscles.
It made me realise that it's all about knowing what you insert to your body.
By simply consisting of plant-based ingredients, my use of the YorHealth products was never affected by the vegan challenge. If that doesn't say how much I appreciate these products, I don't know what does!
