Firstly, this challenge was absolutely amazing, what a journey! It was my second challenge, and I took it far more seriously than the first one, because I had a very clear goal in mind and it meant everything to me to reach that goal. My before weight was 83.9kg, and my goal weight was 80.3kg, my final weight is 78.5kg. I exceeded my initial goal and burnt more fat than expected. I can't begin to describe how happy I am with this result. I was very strict with my eating and training throughout the entire 56 days, and increased the strictness of my eating and training progressively as the challenge progressed to assist my continued fat loss. The main products I used initially to get me going were the Probiotics, Fiber, Supergreens, Berry Blast and Repair Ultra. I used these every day for the first 4 weeks. The Fiber and Probiotics really helped cleanse my digestive system and help me kick start my fat loss. The Berry Blast and Supergreens really assisted my immunity, vitality and general energy levels throughout the day, especially before, during, and after workouts. The Repair Ultra was great for helping me recover after the long workouts everyday. Towards the second half of the challenge, I continued to utilize the Supergreens, Fiber and Berry Blast, and in the last week implemented the Vanilla MRP to really help replace those snacks with the extra calories I was trying to avoid, which really helped. I used the MRP everyday for the last 5 days.
For the duration of the challenge, I trained six days a week. I did my usual bodybuilding split program, whilst adding abs and calves training during every session, plus an extra session of abs and legs on the weekend. I definitely took my training to a new level, as I was training more intensely, longer sessions, less rest time, less carbohydrates to train on, than ever before, and managed to keep my strength close to where it was previously. I definitely found that through the combination of what I did with the products, my diet, and training, I allowed my body to burn fat as much as possible which was my main goal of the challenge.
I will never forget this challenge, what I went through physically, and mentally. How difficult it was to maintain the strictest eating to cut every bit of fat possible, how the products made this process a lot more enjoyable, how I had to train harder and harder but on less and less carbohydrates. I feel like I've taken my mindset to a place it's never been, because going into this challenge, I wanted to go all out with it, not hold back, be super disciplined, and inspire people with my transformation and dedication along the way. I feel confident I can do that now, and that means more than anything to me, knowing that my discipline and sacrifice can now inspire others to make a positive change in their life too. There were a lot of obstacles along the way, there were times I felt like I was taking a backwards step, when my eating was quite giving me the results I was looking for, where I was unhappy with how my abs looked, where I questioned if what I was doing was the best way to do it, where I was confronted with healthy, but calorie loaded meals and had to resist, where my training was a bit flat, but I knew how badly I wanted the end goal, how good I wanted to feel, how much I wanted to feel like I had sacrificed everything to achieve that, and how I had so many people counting on me to inspire them, that kept my head strong and on track. Overall, I am extremely humbled by this experience, it has been the most physically and mentally demanding 8 weeks of my life, and I'm so thankful to all the accountability and support thrown my way from the YOR Health community, it made the journey so much more rewarding and meaningful knowing I had so many people following my progress and being inspired by it. I am so happy to be finished and writing this now, this is by far my biggest achievement ever.
