Today marks the last day of my 8weeks challenge. I'm 23 years old, second youngest in a family of 8. I'm also a full-time certified nursing assistant, helping my patients recover from after surgeries. I'm also my dad's care giver. Due to life's circumstances, I'm taking a break from college to take care of things at home. I love human interaction and learning to understand them throughout the ages. I hope to go back to school for my bachelors in Human Development.
I've tried to lose weight many times in the past with only diet and exercise on my own-but I plateaued. I'm 5"1' and I'm now 135lbs! I did not make much time to work out, only 30mins a day of core workout and light walking. I was hoping for a healthy and holistic way to get closer to my body mass index weight according to my height because that would be considered as "healthy." Because money is tight, I joined the challenge to win first prize for my dad and help him get started on our challenge.
When I first started using our YOR Health products, I was embarrassed of my body image and did not want to share it with the rest of the world. The longer I used the products and the more friends and family saw my results and asked me about it, I thought to myself, "I have found something that is high quality and genuinely works, I HAVE to share my pictures." I was someone, lost of hope in ever seeing weight loss again until YOR Health. Joining YOR Health's amazing nutritional delivery system, I realized that in the past, I thought I was eating healthy but I actually wasn't. With my coach's patience and guidance, with sharing the challenge to friends and family, with updating my results on social media, I kept myself accountable for my actions. Never had I thought I'd get to see 135lbs again and never had I ever thought I'd even get the chance to see abs peaking out!!
Upon rising, I would take 4 repair ultra and 4 probiotics ultra. Then after an hour, I would take 2 superslim, an hour before my meals, which was 2 digest ultra and 2 vitamins with 1 scoop of supergreens, 1 pack of berryblast, 2scoop of fiber, 2 scoop of chocolate shake, and 1 drop of peppermint oil. I do this twice a day and eat one 400 caloric meal mostly of vegetables. I would also snack in between with fresh fruits and a glass of water each, twice a day.
I know if I keep it up, this new life style change will lead me to a better version of me. Even if the scale doesn't show it, my healthier hair, clearer skin, stronger nails, and regular circulating bowels do! I'm excited to continue my health journey and this time, I want to take others with me.
