My name is Sandy Klein. I started my journey on Sunday, May 12th, 2013 weighing 137 pounds. My final weight as of Saturday, July 6th is 129 pounds.
Over the past 8 weeks I was able to prove to myself that I had discipline and willpower. Throughout my life, I haven't had good eating habits. I typically ate a lot of chocolate, chips, cake, and cupcakes. A snack for me was typically any type of junk food. I would eat at least one protein bar a day in between meals. That was my past. Now, a snack for me is an apple, a banana, or strawberries. Instead of drinking diet sodas, I'm now drinking water. These are MAJOR lifestyle changes that will continue to have a positive impact on my health.
During the past 55 days, I was able to maintain good eating habits even when celebrating Memorial Day, many birthday celebrations, & the July 4th holiday. Previously, those holidays & celebrations would have taken me off course. I was able to stay focused on my goal. It helped having a support group on the YOR Health Community website as well as a Facebook Group. For me, posting pictures of myself in a bikini made it easier for me to hold myself accountable.
I have always enjoyed working out. So, whether it was walking, dancing, or riding my bike, I truly enjoy being active. I tried many diet products and product cleanses that turned out to be only temporary fixes. For this challenge, I worked out at the gym 3-4 times a week. This included many spin classes and weight training.
YOR Health products really made a difference! I successfully lost 8 pounds with the help of the YOR Convenience Set Box. The Daily Packs were used with either the MRP Chocolate and/or the Vanilla packets + Fiber Plus + The SuperGreens. This was a winning combination for me that I used daily to stay on track. I packed my lunch and I felt more in control with the way I was eating. When everyone was eating a pizza at work, I ate a salad. I chose better, healthier options.
It was fun to see the before and after pictures because it was such an accomplishment to see the difference. I am committed to a healthy lifestyle now that I am on this path.
