I finally proved that “what you eat” is 90% of the battle to getting the body you want and being healthy! I was always taught to “clean” my plate and I am not talking about in the trash after dinner. Mama would say: “money doesn’t grow on trees”, so wasting food was not an option. That philosophy worked for me when I was young and while I was playing competitive sports, but not so much in my 30's and into my early 40’s. This way of eating led to a yo-yo lifestyle. Lose some weight, gain some weight, lose some weight, gain some weight, you know what I'm talking about, right?… The reason physical fitness and being healthy is so important to me is because I have 2 very young children. I want to be able to be active with them when they get into their teenage years. Plus I want to be around to see grandchildren. If I don’t take care of my health and physical fitness, that may never happen for me. My family has a history of becoming diabetics and having strokes in their 40’s and 50’s. So I am concerned about that “yo-yo” lifestyle of living, it really scares me!
The YOR Best Body 8-Week Challenge is a way for me to stay on track and be consistent with my healthy habits. Some people sign up to run a marathon or train for an iron-man to help them stay focused. The YOR Best Body 8-Week Challenge is the tool I use. It’s simple, fun, doesn't take any time away from my family, and I can do it with my friends! This challenge I didn’t workout that much. I ran a mile once or twice a week, but nothing consistent. I mainly focused on my eating regimen. This time I literally “cleaned” my plate. I took off all the unnecessary high calorie/low nutritional foods and added nutritionally dense foods plus YOR Health products. It actually simplified my life and made my meals easier to prepare.
For breakfast I had a smoothie:
MRP 2 scoops
1/2 cup Blueberries
6 Strawberries
6 almonds
1 scoop Grate•ful Protein
For snack I had SuperBlast: YOR SuperGreens + BerryBlast (oh so tasty!) You gotta try it if you haven’t already!
2 boiled eggs
12 grapes

For lunch and dinner I ate sensible portions and took YOR Digestive Ultra Enzymes. At night or first thing in the morning I drank 8oz of water with Probiotics and Repair. It is a really simple easy to do healthy routine. This is definitely a permanent part of my life now.
This 8-Week Challenge I lost 10 more pounds and reduced my body fat. I feel great and have definitely created a style of life that I can maintain forever!
