My name is Fatima Cervantes and I am 38 years old. I will confess that the 8-week challenge was truly a challenge, not just physically but mentally and emotionally.





I joined the 8-week YOR Best Body challenge the 1st of the year as I had "decided" that this year was going to be different; I was going to be in the best shape of my life. I went from 107LBS to 113LBS before 2017 was over. I let stress get the best of me. I wasn’t working out, spent a LOT of time sitting down at my desk, not getting enough rest and was hormonally inbalanced. It was time for a change.







3rd week into the challenge I was told I was going through early menopause and that I was going to start get treated for thyroid, just in case. What? The Dr. told me to take hormones for the “upcoming” thyroid and menopause symptoms; following up with btw you can’t get pregnant. Wow, talk about a memorable day. I did what you are not supposed to do, I googled my invisible symptoms and immediately went into a sad, weak mode. I felt lost and unwilling to go on.





Until I decided that at 38 I couldn’t just give up! I decided to take charge of my health so I kept on going with the rest of the challenge ( I had 3 weeks left) I started consistently taking all my YOR supplements and essential oils. I followed the regime of intermittent fasting and had proper nutrition. I’m happy to say that I’m at 109 (lost 4 LBS) and not once did I take the thyroid medication.



I was so surprised that I have been regularly getting my period and don’t have the same symptoms I used to have. It is all about mind over body and being blessed for having access to such quality supplements. I can’t wait to do my second challenge.

At the end of the day, this was a personal challenge to not be defeated by what Drs. Tell you. I believe that we should take control of our health and not let anyone dictate that medication is the solution to everything.







My routine:



Fasted for 13-15 hours

In the morning:

1 scoop of fiber In the morning and one at night

2 repairs

Super greens to break the fast

For all balanced meals I would have 2 enzymes

Drink Super Greens twice a day

Before going to bed:
