My second 8 week challenge I wanted to step things up. My starting weight was 70kg and I wanted to build lean muscle in 8 weeks. I managed to build 2 kg of lean muscle and just falling short of my 3kg goal. My body fat % started at 7.8% and ended up at 8.2% so I managed to maintain the fat well.
To achieve my goal I made sure to be consistent with my product usage while training six 1 hour sessions a week and eaten a clean vegan diet with plenty of raw foods.
My favourite products I used to help assist my training and recovery were the super greens that I took 2 - 3 times I day, usually before or after a workout. The repair enzymes that I would take on occasion if I felt my body needed it. The probiotics I took 2 times a day, upon waking and before bed. This helped me sleep a lot better and wake up feeling more refreshed and motivated. Finally I took the digestive enzymes 2 - 3 times a day depending on the size of my meal and if it was processed in some way.
For this challenge I decided to go vegan and most of the time I stuck to it. I can now say I am a fully committed vegan. I ate 6 - 8 meals a day during my challenge and 2 of them were liquid meals. On some days I did however feel like skipping meals and did not want to eat.
My 6 training sessions every week felt more and more challenging as the weeks went by. I really wanted to increase my effort every week, and this really challenged me mentally and physically. I felt by the end I was starting to find that it was taking longer to recover but I still had the motivation to push through with the help of my gym partner and the YOR Health Products.
By the end of the challenge I did a lot of meditation and visualisation, as well as some HIT Cardio to ensure that I could look as great as I visualised for my after photo. The final week was brutal but I loved every second, and I feel the last week had a big impact on my mindset and attitude. That last week I could of gave up but I wanted to go all out and nothing stopped me from getting out of my comfort zone. With the help of the YOR Health Proucts and entering this challenge I have become a stronger, more driven version of myself and I am getting more and more close to my ideal physique. This challenge is by far the best journey I have done and helped me take fitness to the next level.
