The Yor best body 8-week challenge, is the perfect reset for me.
For a little over 12 months prior to starting the challenge it’s safe to say I had let myself go.
Lack of exercise combined with many, many poor lifestyle choices left me in a position where I was feeling sluggish, had next to no motivation and as a result my health was beginning to suffer.
Definitely time for me to turn things around, I turned to the 8-week challenge and the yor health product range, as I know it works. I have successfully completed 2, 8-week challenges in the past. This would be my 3rd and most needed challenge to date.
A big part of myself being healthy is to be a good example of what is possible to my friends and family especially my mother. I approached mum to do the 8-week challenge with me and she happily agreed.
This will be the third 8 week challenge we have completed together, there is something very special about getting healthy with the people that you love.... thank-you Yor health.
I decided to go all in with the challenge so the first step was to get rid of all the bad food and temptations out of my house, fridge and cupboard, the second step was to replace all the bad food and temptations with good fresh nutritious food, fruit and vegetables.
I also stocked up on the Yor health product range, I have been taking the Yor health products for 6 years now and I will never stop. It has become ritualistic for me to take them, Not only are they key to me feeling good daily, but they are also amazing for the 8-week challenge.
The cleansing/nourishing of the body and the energy gained from taking the products made it a lot easier for me to perform in the gym. However most importantly the repair and recovery support made it so easy for me to be consistent and train most days throughout the 8 weeks.
As mentioned, I trained most days throughout the challenge, averaging 5 or 6 days a week for approximately 2 hours a session. Eating well and taking the yor health range was key to me being able to maintain this throughout the 8 weeks.
My daily routine would consist of
Morning - upon rising I would have a super blast fibre shake. this would have 1 x berry blast 1 x super greens and 1 x scoop of fibre.
With my morning shake I would take 2 x yor vitamins and depending on how hard I trained the day before possibly 2 x repair enzymes.
A big part of my morning routine has become 1 x drop of lemon oil in a glass of water this helps to alkalize the body, but I also love the taste.
Throughout the day I constantly will have a bottle of peppermint oil in my pocket. I use this periodically throughout the day. this helps me keep alert and stimulated, it is great for using prior, during and post workouts. prior and during a workout peppermint oil is great for opening the airways up, getting you breathing better and of course helping with mental stimulation and focus.
Post work out peppermint oil is great for sore muscles I would use this to rub into the sore muscles before bed
Lunch - During my lunch time meal I would have 1 x digestive enzymes and 2 x Yor vitamins
pre work out - Yor berry blast. this is great to give me that extra edge and push in the gym.
Post work out, the Yor health range is amazing. Straight after my work out, I would have 2 x repair enzymes and 1 x yor vanilla shake. I would often take this in the Yor health travel container to the gym with me so I could take this straight after my workout.
A couple of times a week post work out i would soak in an oils bath. this was amazing for my muscles but also my skin. I noticed massive improvements in my complexion and colour.
The oils I would use in my bath were Peppermint Lavender Rosemary and Frankincense. Super relaxing and the smells are to die for.
Prior to bed I would have another Super Greens combined with 1 x probiotic and 2 x repair enzymes. This would help to cleanse my body and repair it over night while I was sleeping.
During sleep, i have found the oils to be so good. i usually put peppermint and lavender in the diffuser next to my bed, this not only helps me sleep more deeply, but it has also helped to stop me from snoring.
I would like to thank Yor health for the 8-week challenge and the amazing products to support the transformation.
I am extremely happy with my results and even happier to see myself and my mother back on the right track regarding health.
I highly recommend anyone wanting to reset and give themselves the best shot at a healthy life to jump on board and give the 8 weeks challenge a crack. It is super rewarding, as well as a great platform to keep you on track.
