I'm super excited to finish my 3rd cycle of the YOR Best Body 8-Week challenge! With my promoter set i took on the challenge. In the beginning of my Challenge I told myself that I had to put my all in this. Not just for myself, but to be an inspiration to all my friends and family. My first 3 weeks i didn't make much change and I wasn't happy with myself. I felt like I was falling back into my old insecurities. Before the challenge came into my life I was very shy, had zero confidence, and felt like I was always being compared. I love my mother so much, but every time I got a pimple, she would get upset with me. That programmed me to condemn myself for every little imperfection until I didn't love myself anymore. The weight gain was a huge downfall to my self-esteem.
Once week 4 came along, I realized I've come a long way and decided not to fall into my old programming and insecurities. It also helped me to have awesome support from my friends doing the challenge with me. Being surrounded by inspiring people like my team definitely motivated me so much more. I started working out 4-5 days a week and my regimen was as follows:
Morning: 2 Probiotic and 1 repair with 16oz of water
Breakfast: either oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, fruits or a YOR Shake! With digest ultras and vitamins
2nd meal: either a YOR shake, wrap of my choice, pasta, chicken or a salad. All with a bowl of fruits and my Yor Super greens. Plus digest ultras
3rd meal: YOR shake with peanut butter, banana, frozen berries, fiber plus. I call it the bomb because of it's explosion of flavors. Or yogurt with granola or a banana with peanut butter.
4th meal: spinach salad with feta cheese and a side of sweet potatoes, or a wrap or grilled asparagus. With my super greens and digest ultra.
5th meal: a delicious YOR Shake to end my day.
My last few days of the challenge I started drinking a lot more water with lemon, About 12-14 cups a day. I noticed my digestion improved even more and so did my energy level.
I'm so appreciative of this challenge because it was able to give me my self esteem back. Now I don't condemn myself for my imperfections anymore; instead I see them as what makes me unique and beautiful.
The absolute best part of my 8 week journey is now I can truly say that I love myself again! I was able to lose fat and gain muscle. i know i still haven't met my goal but I'm in love with my new body!
